New Year, New Those Graces

New Year, New Those Graces

For the past two years, I’ve been wanting to switch Those Graces over to a magazine layout that aggregates content on the main page as well as providing a more traditional blog layout. I didn’t plan to do it this week, it just kind of happened when I started playing around with layouts over the weekend! There’s still some fine tuning I have left to do, but I didn’t want my site to be down for more than a few days.

If you’d like to know how I achieved this layout or any sort of blog nitty gritty, please comment below and I’ll do a post in the near future! As for now, I’m going to make sure to get some sleep and fold some laundry.

  1. it looks great! inspiring me to clean up my blog a bit…

    • If I wasn’t so brain dead from lack of sleep after finishing this project, I would’ve mentioned I was actually inspired by to redesign mine! Let me know if you make any changes! I’d love to see :)

  2. The new site looks great! What made you decide on the magazine layout?

    • Thanks lady! Honestly, I always wanted to do one just because I like magazine layouts that are simple and at the same time complicated. I think after a few years of blogging, I just got tired of the options of the basic 1 to 3 column themes. Also, I think it helped me understand how the themes and widgets all work together. I’ve been thinking about expanding my freelancing to web design, so every layout is a chance to push myself out of my comfort zone!

  3. It really looks neat and clean. Good job. I would just find useful to add a “published on…” near the title of the latest posts that show un on the main page.

  4. Looks fab girl! Hard work paid off!

  5. No questions but I just wanted to say it looks great!!
