When I first moved to the Boston area from South Carolina, I was immediately surprised by the city’s supportive blogging community. I’ve been here just about over a year now and have had the pleasure to get to know a handful of Boston bloggers both online and offline. Boston certainly has many bloggers, I wanted to share some of my personal favorites that I follow on a weekly basis.
Erin of Elements of Style blends fashion and interior design in a relatable, non-intimidating way. I’ve read my fair share of design blogs throughout the past three years, and hers is the only one I’ve stuck with, which definitely says something considering I know very little about interior design!
Katy of Modly Chic and Fashion Beauty Friend Friday was not only one of my first Boston friends, but one of my first blogging friends! She does a great job at building the blogging community not only in Boston, but around the Internet. I’m especially sad, however, because she is moving soon and I’m going to miss her!
Emily of So Anthro is so adorably fashionable–the perfect mix of prep and glam. I seriously love how she dresses. Once I even found myself browsing for sequined skirts on my lunch break after looking at her blog.
Beyond Boston Chic by Martini is a brilliant street style fashion blog with a personal flare. I’m always amazed at the fashionable people Martini runs into around the city. Beyond Boston Chic is one of the few street style blogs I follow, and I enjoy every post.
Whenever I want to know what the latest news is or where to find a quirky pair of shows, I go to The Well Appointed Catwalk by Marissa. I love how Marissa blends fashion with all type of design from airplanes to hotels. It sounds hard to do, but Marissa makes it look easy!
